Our education partners at the University of Nevada, Reno Extension have partnered with UNLV’s Nevada Institute for Children’s Research and Policy to host this year’s combined Healthy Kids Festival & Step Up For Kids event. This fun, free, family-friendly event aims to teach kids about the importance of living a healthy lifestyle, including physical activity and proper nutrition.

Chefs for Kids is proud to support our partners at the Extension by hosting a booth ever year. This year we’re excited to bring back the “Grow, Try, and Buy” free farmers market where kids can learn where food comes from, how to pick it, and, most fun, TRY fresh produce.

Registration is encouraged, but not required. Hope to see you there!
