DESCRIPTION:We are looking forward to this new beginning. \nSince March of 2020\, our community has undergone a serious natural uprising. We are weathering the storm\, are remaining resilient\, and are driven by hope of what is soon to come. Like the lotus flower\, Chefs for Kids has locked our roots within our pond\, Clark County. Although the pond is muddied by outside forces\, on March 12\, 2022\, we bloom again after two years of event postponement. \nFor three decades\, Chefs for Kids has provided Clark County Title I schools with programs that have fed and taught more than 200\,000 children about healthy food options\, nutrition education\, and the importance of physical exercise. \nWe thank our honorees\, and you for past and future support of our work in Southern Nevada. The Legacy Award honors the individuals that helped Chefs for Kids grow. We thank them for planting the seeds. \nJ.B. Brown\, Larry Chumley\, Frank Insera\, Claude Lambertz\, Carolyn Leontos\, Julie Murray\, Michael Ty\, TE Williams (posthumous) \nSouthwest Gas Corporation will receive the Corporate Award.
