SUMMARY:Healthy Kids Festival 2025
DESCRIPTION:Join us for this free family event best for children ages 3 to 8 years old. \nOur education partners at the University of Nevada\, Reno Extension have been hosting the Healthy Kids Festival for more than a decade. This fun\, free\, family-friendly event aims to teach kids about the importance of living a healthy lifestyle\, including physical activity and proper nutrition. The day will be filled with tons of interactivities including learning from local healthy nutrition and physical activity specialists\, enjoy Chef Demos and tasty food samples\, get their hands dirty by learning a little gardening\, have fun and get active dancing to music plus other physical activities\, and all while having the chance to win cool prizes! \nChefs for Kids is proud to support our partners at the Extension by hosting a booth every year – and this year we’re pretty stoked about it. We will be sponsoring a “Grow\, Try and Buy” free farmers market where kids can learn where food comes from\, how to pick it\, and\, most fun\, TRY fresh produce. \nBe sure to register early – hope to see you there!
