The Ty Legacy of Giving Continues at H.P. Fitzgerald ES

H.P. Fitzgerald Elementary School marked the start of a three-week Cookin’ Up Breakfast marathon, and boy was it a lot of fun. Our culinary sponsors Hospitality Culinaire Inc. and Jamba Juice were on-site handing out Breakfast Burritos with sausage, egg and cheese, and an Acai Bowl with strawberries, blueberries and granola. We asked the kids what they thought of the breakfast and they all said one word… “Yum!” Each of the kids also received a little “to-go” bag that had snacks and a toy inside, and a special chef’s hat from Jamba Juice. The children loved it! 

This is the first time we were able to visit our friends at H.P. Fitzgerald in three years due to the pandemic. It was truly wonderful to see the kids smiling faces again, and see how much they’ve grown! Everyone from the students to the teachers and staff were excited to be able to join together for a warm breakfast and fun with our chefs.

This breakfast was made extra special as Michael Ty’s wife and kids, and his work family, all continued his legacy of giving in order to make this breakfast happen. In addition to sponsoring one breakfast each year, the Ty family and Hospitality Culinaire Inc. serve up Jamba Juice smoothies at every breakfast. We are grateful to the Ty family and all they have contributed to our organization over the years. Plus it was fun to see Michael David Ty and his brother, Marc Ty serving up breakfast in banana and strawberry costumes.
