They’ll be kicking off their first meeting of the 2023/2024 meeting season in style with a Cheese, Wine & Beer educational mixer Presented by Dairy Council of Nevada. This is an event that promises to tantalize your taste buds and warm your heart, all in the name of a good time and a good cause.

Prepare for an evening of sophistication as you sip and savor hand-selected wine and cheese pairings that are sure to delight even the most discerning palate. To enhance your experience, we have enlisted the expertise of a dynamic duo of Marks who will guide the tasting, providing educational tidbits that will make you sound like the smartest food aficionado in the room. Mark Steele, Sommelier and Founder of Restaurant Hospitality Institute will lead the wine and beer tasting, and Mark Sandoval, Executive Chef at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas’ Harrah College of Hospitality, and recently crowned ACF Chefs of Las Vegas’ Chef of the Year, will spread the facts on the cheesy delights presented that night. Both will cover the characteristics, history, and benefits of each pairing, providing you with a deeper understanding of the art of pairing.

But that’s not all – we’re taking your taste buds on an Italian adventure! Sample artisanal pizza creations from Le Cordon Bleu-trained Chef Eric Post of Cabrisse Kitchen such as the Temecula Twist with olive oil, parmesan, caramelized onion, brie, grapes, chicken & arugula and the Red, White & Blue with cream, parmesan, caramelized onion, gorgonzola, mozzarella & smoked tri-tip. There’ll be many more varieties to try… just don’t blame us if you fall into a carb coma when you get home!

During the mixer, Chefs for Kids will hold a special raffle, with all proceeds going towards our soon to unveil Michael Ty Culinary  Scholarship which aims to support students entering the culinary field, ensuring that the spirit of Michael’s culinary excellence lives on. There is a Culinary Enthusiast Membership available, and is for an individual that is not employed in a culinary field, but has a passion for the culinary arts.
