Taking it to the Playground!

Our amazing friends at MGM Resorts International were back at it again—whisking, flipping, and plating up the ingredients for a perfect storm of deliciousness at Cynthia Cunningham Elementary School. And let us tell you… this breakfast was anything but ordinary.

This time, the incredibly talented culinary team from ARIA Resort & Casino stepped into the spotlight, and they did not come to play—they came to wow. What they served was nothing short of a morning masterpiece that would make any brunch spot jealous.

On the gourmet menu?

🥚 An Egg & Mozzarella Muffin—fluffy, melty, and oh-so-satisfying.

🧀 A Cheesy Hash Brown Pavé—yes, pavé! (And don’t worry, we Googled it too. A pavé is a fancy French term for a dish served in a neat rectangular or square shape. Très chic!)

🍗 A savory Chicken Apple Sausage paired with a Whole Wheat Banana Maple Syrup Pancake, drizzled with a Yogurt Maple Dressing—because why not take things to the next level?

🍓 And of course, a refreshing fruit cup to balance it all out and add that pop of color and natural sweetness.

It wasn’t just the menu that made the morning magical—it was the atmosphere too. In a special twist, the third graders got to enjoy their breakfast outside on the playground, soaking up the sunshine while savoring their chef-crafted meals. Giggles and grateful bites filled the air, and for a moment, it felt like a breakfast picnic in the heart of a five-star resort.

This is what Chefs for Kids is all about: not just feeding children, but giving them memorable experiences that show how fun and exciting healthy eating can be. With each bite, kids are introduced to new flavors, fresh ingredients, and the joy of trying something made with care and creativity.
